MY STORY...
Born premature and with severe Absence seizures, my life was supposed to have looked completely different. Children usually grow out of this type of seizure within the first year of their life. However, by the time I was eleven, there still was no end in sight. My life was defined by what I couldn't do. I was told I would never drive, never play contact sports, never be able to succeed in school...
Three words from scripture that I find to be the most profound are ", BUT THEN GOD."
I was eleven years old and still having daily seizures, BUT THEN GOD. One day, they just disappeared. If you spend any time with me, you will probably hear me say my signature catchphrase... "Living the dream!" I'm living the dream, and so are you. Despite whatever situation we are in, every day is a gift. I was given a new life in the blink of an eye, and I've been on a mission to glorify God with my story ever since he healed me from my seizures.
I was blessed with the opportunity to wrestle throughout college at both West Virginia University and Reinhardt University. I graduated in 2019 Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's in Business Administration and a concentration in Management.
Possibly because of my seizures, there has always been a stirring in my heart to love and empathize with others. From a young age, I felt God's calling on my life to work in ministry. I've spent the past few years working in Student Ministry, and I am currently pursing my Masters at Dallas Theological in hopes of one day starting a church.
I'm a Georgia boy currently living in Nashville, Tennessee with my beautiful wife, Randi. She's the love of my life and best friend all in one package. We met our freshman year of high school in 2011. Only God knows how, but my 14 year-old Bieber-hair self convinced her to like me... and we've been together ever since!
I love Jesus more than anything. I believe He is the answer, and I believe He can change anybody. I enjoy coffee, and I literally put hot sauce on everything.
